  1. Gosh this is a little em of a book, isn't it? If I remember rightly, a member of the Percy family of Northumberland was supposed to have been in love with Anne Boleyn before she got involved with Henry VIII. What a little treasure of a book. Thanks for the review, very much enjoyed.

    1. Hi Maria! Thanks for calling by and leaving your comment. There is also another book in this series by the Duchess of Northumberland called 'The Duchess of Northumberland's Little Book of Poisons, Potions and Aphrodisiacs'!

      Hopefully the jam, jellies and preserve recipes do not get mixed up with the recipes that might be in this other book! ;-)
